Lymphatic Massage for Detoxification
Lymphatic Massage for Detox
Why?
The lymphatic system is part of the immune system. It aids in destroying pathogens, toxins, and filtering waste. It is an avenue to detox and cleanse the body.
Lymphatic massage focus to face head and neck may help in clearing the sinuses by facilitation of fluid drainage. It may boost the immune system after a bout with a cold or flu virus or for general wellness.
What is Lymphatic Massage?
Lymphatic massage is a gentle treatment with attention to the lymph nodes and light, rhythmic massage strokes to the body with the aim to encourage movement of the lymph fluid.
It may include the application of castor oil to the abdomen and a castor oil massage blend for the therapeutic lymphatic massage strokes. The session may also include reflexology points on the feet to stimulate the lymphatic system.
After the session you are sure to feel relaxed. Everyone’s body responds differently. Some feel like napping, others feel rejuvenated. It is recommended that the client drink LOTS of water. Water will help with the continuation of the body’s detoxification process and flush out waste products.
